On Fasting and In Particular Ekadashi Upavasa

When I was reading an investing blog, five-six years back I came across a sentence. Reading and following this book “Fasting and Eating for Health: A Medical Doctor’s Program for Conquering Disease Dr. Joel Fuhrman” is probably the best thing one can do with $10. It was from someone I respected and followed, so I got curious about it.

I ordered the book and read it. It was an eye-opener for me. I never paid attention to fasting so much. Maybe I was in my 20’s and early 30’s, I didn’t feel the need to do it. I tried 16 x 8 intermittent fasting some days…
